Advanced Filters allow you to target only the specific data you want to see in your reports.

||| Our Advanced Filters have been updated, the 'Subject' 'contains' filters now have an OR condition between them, instead of AND, allowing you to search for more than one different part of a subject at once (for example, I can look for subjects containing both "report" OR "update").

Any number of them can be added to your reports to filter for only the information you want to see. You can find Advanced Filters here:

You can exclude or include any of these parameters:

Whole Domains (gino@emailmeter.com, can be "from", "recipients" or "any")

Specific Addresses (gino@emailmeter.com, can be "from", "recipients" or "any")

|| "from" refers to the address/domain which sent an email.

|| "recipients" refers to the address/domain to which an email was sent.

|| "any" includes both of the above.

Intradomain True includes intradomain emails, False excludes them (Emails which are sent within your own domain, allows you to exclude internal traffic from your rep

Messages Sent

This metric measures the total number of emails which were sent from this inbox in the time period covered by the report.

You may see a percentage which reflects the change in this number from the previous time period - this can either be green if more emails have been sent, or red if less have been sent.

There will also be a highlight of one of your metrics which has shown an improvement, and this can be the Sent metric.

Advanced Filters can affect this number, for example if you choose to exclude a certain domain or address from your report.

Great for quickly seeing the volume of emails you have sent for the time-period you are analysing.

| Perfect to show your employer or client how busy you've been sending emails!

Compare this metric with the amount of Recipients to get an idea of how many emails per person you have sent.

Messages Received

This metric measures the total number of emails which were received by this inbox in the time period covered by the report.

All aliases are included, as well as all emails which are received to any groups which you belong to.

||| Anything marked as Spam in Gmail/Outlook is NOT included (with Advanced Filters, emails which were marked as spam manually can be included).

Emails which arrive to an account you have permissions for (delegated) are NOT included.

You may see a percentage which reflects the change in this number from the previous time period - this can either be green if more emails have been received, or red if less have been received.

Advanced Filters can affect this number, for example if you choose to exclude a certain domain or address from your report.

There will also be a highlight if one of your metrics has shown an improvement, and this can be the Received metric.

Raw Data Export

You can now request a full export of the data which is used to generate your report metrics!

To get started, select the report you wish to export - This can be any Monthly, Weekly or Custom Report.

Any Advanced Filters or Team Members selected will also be applied to export, it is an exact export of the report you choose.

Please note Advanced Filters are also a Email Meter Plus feature, you can sign up here!

Once you have the report from which you want to pull the raw data, click the Export CSV button in the top right:

You will see a prompt informing you that the data export is being prepared - You can expect to receive this to your email shortly:

You will be informed if you have already tried to export the same report.

If you have not received your report after 1 hour (although it normally takes a few minutes), please check your other folders (including spam).

Question 5

Senders

This metric counts the total number of distinct addresses which sent emails to this inbox in the time period covered by the report.

In other words, it's the count of the total number of different, individual addresses which you received an email from, either directly or by being included in the CC/BCC field.

It's a good indicator of the total number of different people who are contacting you.

You may see a percentage which reflects the change in this number from the previous time period - this can either be green if a greater number of different senders have been in touch (35% seen above), or red if it has decreased:

Average Response Time

This metric measures the mean average of the time it took you to reply to emails from this inbox in the time period covered by the report.

You may see a percentage which reflects the change in this response time from the previous period - this can either be green if more emails have been sent, or red if less have been sent.

All responses found for emails received in this period are counted.

| If you have set up Business Hours, these will be applied when calculating this metric. Business Hours are included in Email Meter Pluss — Click here to unlock along with all our other extra features!

For example: A report for May 1st - May 31st can include a June 3rd reply to a May 30th email.

||| Any emails which are marked as spam will not be included. ||| Emails which do not receive a response will not be included.

There will also be a highlight if one of your metrics has shown an improvement, and this can be the Average Response Time metric.
