Internal vs. External

This chart shows the number of messages Internal Sent and Received emails (within your domain) and External Sent and Received (outside of your domain)

This is a useful metric to see how much intradomain traffic there is, for example if you want to track how much your team are communicating with each other, or to track how much contact is being made with external domains.

Please note that if 1 address from outside your domain is included in an email, either in the To, CC or BCC field, then that email will be counted as external.
