You can generate custom reports to cover the date range of your choosing, covering the two year period that is uploaded when you upgrade to Email Meter Premium.
Generate a new report by choosing the date range you want to filter, from the drop down menu:
You can choose from one of the predetermined date ranges, or input your own by choosing a start and end date in the calendar menu.
If you manage a Team, you will be able to select which inboxes you wish to include below.
There is also the option to apply Advanced Filters below, you can read all about these here.
When you are ready, click "Apply filters" to create your report. It can take a few minutes to generate the report if it is covering a longer time period.
A summary of the main stats for your filtered period is shown, so you can quickly gauge your most important information before diving into the deeper insights.
You can also export your report to a CSV spreadsheet file using the CSV Export button.
A heatmap showing your busiest hours throughout the day over your report period. This can help you identify at what times you are receiving the most emails, as well as what time you are at your most productive.
Messages by Day
A breakdown of your message volume, showing both sent and received over each day of the report period. This allows you to see which days you were the busiest over the month, so you can identify patterns and plan accordingly.
Both your quickest response time and your average time taken before your first response are shown, as well as a graph to help you visualise how long first responses took.
You will also be notified of any Business Hours you have applied, or be reminded if you do not have any active.
The number of sent emails you received/did not receive a reply to.
The number of received emails you replied/did not reply to.
Internal vs. External
The number of Sent/Received emails, divided into Internal (within the same domain) and External (outside of domain).
Please note you will only see this metric if you are using a custom domain
Total number of new email threads in which you sent the first email (started the thread), and the total number of emails that you have sent to an existing email thread.
The number of messages which were addressed directly to you, and the number of messages where you were included as a CC but not a direct recipient.
The email addresses / domains which you interacted with the most, along with:
- Number of messages exchanged (broken down into sent and received).
- Best contact time, determined by when that contact most often emails you, and is therefore most likely to be looking at their inbox. This means they will be more likely to see your email before it is buried under any subsequent emails.
- Your average response time to that contact/domain.
You can switch between individual email addresses or domains in the top right.
You can the sort list by each column to see the highest and lowest values, which is particularly useful to see who your top senders and receivers are!
This metric is great for determining who you spend the most time emailing, who is sending you the most emails and which contacts you have the most one-sided communication with.
